Reality television lovers were first introduced toFrankie Delgadoas one of Brody Jenner’s ride-or-die best friends during the early days of MTV’s hit series, “The Hills.”

Nearly a decade after “The Hills” wrapped, Delgado returned to the small screen with some of the original members of the show, like Audrina Patridge, Whitney Port,Heidi Montag, Spencer Pratt, and more, for the online grid’s spin-off series, “The Hills: New Beginnings.”

Ahead of the Season 2 premiere, which airs on MTV on May 12 (viaScreenRant), Delgado opened up toEntertainment Tonight Canadaabout the new season, as well as how quarantine flipped his family’s life upside down over the past year and a half.

“I went from having a great income to zero to contemplating getting assistance from the government through the unemployment route, which I never thought or even imagined would ever happen,” he shared with the outlet, adding, “As much as it [COVID] affected me at the beginning, it also made me better as a human, as a person who is empathetic and understands other people’s situations, and I’m just thankful that I was given another chance to be there for my family in ways that I never thought I could be.”

Thankfully, while he was trying tonavigate pandemic lifelike the rest of us, it sounds like Delgado had the unwavering support of his wife, Jennifer Acosta, who he married in a beautiful ceremony in Rancho Las Loma, California in 2013 (viaUs Weekly).

And if Acosta looks familiar, it’s because you may have seen her as an extra in a couple productions over the years, including “Slutty Summer,” and “The Bilbee Boys.”

Most notably, you’d recognize her from Season 1 of “The Hills: New Beginnings” (viaIMDb).

While there isn’t a ton of info about Acosta out there, one scroll throughher Instagram pagewill show you that she’s a loving and dedicated mother to her and Delgado’s two adorable children, she absolutely loves cooking and baking, and she enjoys a good vacation with her family.

She often gushes about Delgado on social media, too, like when shepenned an emotional tributeon Father’s Day last year that read, “To the world you are a dad, to our family you are the world.”
