Lucas is Zara’s third child and first boy, coming after seven-year-old Mia and two-year-old Lena.
In his interview withPeople, Mike described Zara as a “warrior, as always.”
“But, as with everything, time’s a great healer.”
Zara also revealed in an interview withBBC Breakfastjust how challenging the experience was for her and her family.
“The hardest thing, in our situation, is that everyone knew,” she explained.
Fortunately, Zara had her family to lean on.
“I have a very supportive family … Mike’s incredible,” she said.
“It’s been a horrible road.
But you know, actually, now, we’ve come out the end of it.
And hopefully it makes you a stronger family.”
