Paul McCartney was the bassist forThe Beatles, one of the most famous bands in the western world.
As many fans of the band knows, Yoko Ono was the second wife of John Lennon.
The pair certainly didn’t hit it off immediately, however.
McCartney even toldCNNthat he was annoyed by Ono’s presence in the recording studio.
“When John got with Yoko, she wasn’t in the control room or to the side.
It was in the middle of the four of us.”
He’s not stupid."
“They seemed to have a lot of fun, and I respected that.”
McCartney later elaborated on their reconciliation, noting that it wasn’t easy but it’s been worth it.
He noted, (viaCNN), “It was a little hard at first.
Gradually, we did.
Now it’s like we’re mates.
I like Yoko.”
