Everyone’s favorite jungle king, TV show host Jack Hanna, has sadly been diagnosed with dementia.
It read, “Today, we reach out to share some personal Hanna Family news.
His condition has progressed much faster in the last few months than any of us could have anticipated.”
His daughters also acknowledged the impact their father had on the Columbus Zoo and others.
“Positive vibes to Jack and his family, truly heartbreaking.
He was a joy to watch,” wrote @natgeoha (viaTwitter).
While another social media userposted, “So very sad.
I met Jack a few years ago at LaGuardia Airport.
He was so nice, friendly and gregarious.
I watched his show for years, even into adulthood.
I will always treasure that meeting and the photo he was kind enough to take with me.”
Hanna’s daughters have asked for privacy in light of COVID-19 restrictions.
