Luckily, her second husband was used to all the attention.
But what else is there to know about Christina Haack’s second ex-husband?

Here’s a lookChristina Hacck’s former relationshipand the truth about her ex-husband, Ant Anstead.
Up until then, Anstead wasn’t very well-known outside of the U.K.
However, being on the television show was never about the fame for him.

“The cars are the stars.
It was a disappointing start, to say the least, but Anstead pushed past it.
While his ex-wife Haack grew up in California, Anstead had lived his whole life in the U.K.

However, this British bloke seems to have easily adjusted to the sunny California coast.
“Personally, I’ve really settled in,” he admitted toDriveTribe.
Anstead continued, saying, “I love living in Newport Beach.

I love, I love being in this part of the world.”
Of course, it had to be one that had an enormous garage for all of his cars.
Automobiles never seemed to be too far away, though.

After six years, he ended up leaving this dangerous life to build cars full time.
“When you’re standing in-front of someone armed that’s real fear.
In addition to being a car guru, Ant Anstead is also a published author!

Apparently, one of those books has a particularly special link to his past.
Plus, it gave him even more of a reason to spend extra time around automobiles.
Those people definitely know their stuff, after all!

Only a year later, he began building his first of what would be many, many cars.
Growing up in the U.K., he was forced to wait a whole year longer than American teens do.
“In England you have to be 17 years old to get a driving license,” Anstead toldMotorTrend.

Added Anstead, “I just knew in my heart, ‘Sure I want to do this.
It’s something that I really love.'”
Needless to say, those kids are racking up many frequent flier miles.

He continued, revealing, “That will always shock me.”
Instead of a hunk of junk, he could have been sitting on a hunk of cash!
In fact, Anstead was actually a semi-professional player back in the U.K.

According toThis Is Money, he actually played over 700 games as both a goalie and a striker.
Now, that’s impressive!
Soccer wasn’t something Anstead gave up after he moved to the California coast either.

It has since turned into a customized car experience for each client that Anstead and his team work with.
“Although they look old, they’re brand new,” Anstead explained.
What’s not to love?

According to Anstead, it’s all about putting your personality into it.
He continued, saying, “But building cars hasn’t stopped me making other stuff!”
Added Anstead, “I loved that car.”

Ant Anstead is passionate about his charity work
Ant Anstead knows the importance of giving back.
Cars helped fuel the cause pun intended.
I get to build a car and at the same time help Harrison’s Fund,” heannounced.

“Battle off against Mike Brewer!”
Added the TV host, “Wait, that’s three things I love!”

Stars they’re just like us!
What had to be even more awkward was how her then-new husband felt about her working with her ex.
However, Anstead was the supportive hubs everybody dreams of having.

“It really hit me hard,” Anstead later admitted toPeople.
In Instagramphotos, followers even began noticing that he had lost a lot of weight.
By 2020, “I reached this turning point,” he said.

“I had the choice to dwell on it, or move on and work on myself.”
He knew he needed to make a change to make himself better.
Today, he successfully co-parents son Hudson with Haack.

He didn’t even have a bathtub to wash his small son in.
However, the entire living situation ended up being a big life lesson.
“I’ve realized how little I need, and what’s important,” he explained toPeople.
“I don’t need anything but Hudson and my health.”
In June 2021, Anstead officially purchased a fixer-upper that he appropriately refers to as “Temple.”
However, it seems he’ll always secretly miss that little apartment.
And he’ll be working on what he knows best cars.
The two-hour special “gets deep into Drews warped/creative automotive head,” Anstead joked onInstagram.
“I will now only use the Property Brothers for all future public announcements,” Anstead wrote onInstagram.
We can’t wait!
