He explained toThe Boot, “I wrote this song and immediately thought of Tim McGraw.
And what we need to hear personally, you know?
McGraw added that working on this song offered him a much-needed reality check.
He said, “It hit me right in the heart, you know?
So, it was more of an internal thing, to me, when I heard the song.”
