And the actress slated to play her is none other thanYara Shahidi(viaDeadline).
If that name sounds familiar, that’s because you’re thinking of"Black-ish."
Shahidi starred as Zoey Johnson on the ABC hit sitcom from 2014 till 2020 (viaIMDb).
Her character was so popular that she even received her own spinoff, “Grown-ish.”
It certainly follows in the footsteps of Halle Bailey’s Ariel.
Additionally, Alexander Molony and Ever Anderson will Peter and Wendy, respectfully.
