Tennis superstar,Serena Williams, won’t be heading to Tokyo for the 2021 olympics.
A former gold medalist, the mother of one has decided to opt out of this year’s events.
“I’m actually not on the Olympic list, not that I’m aware of.

If so, then I shouldn’t be on it,” she said, according toESPN.

In the past [the Olympics] has been a wonderful place for me.
In the meantime, Williams continues her journey towards her24th grand slam titleat Wimbledon this summer.
As for this years championships, Williams remains laser focused on breaking the women’s Grand Slam record.
“You really have to show up now.”
“There’s no longer matches that are going to be a sure walk-through.
You just have to really have your head in, have your game on,” Williams added.
