Fans of the 1992 film “A League of Their Own” have something to get excited about.
The movie is beingadapted into a television seriesfor Amazon, perUs Weekly.
O’Donnell played the character of Doris Murphy in the original “A League of Their Own” movie.
However, this time around, she’ll be portraying a bartender.
“I had a great experience on ‘A League of Their Own.’
And I said, ‘In a minute.’
“When she had that speech ‘I never really felt like a real girl.
It’s not a gay thing.'”
However, O’Donnell said she disagreed with Marshall about Doris’ sexual orientation.
“I played it the way I played it.
But again, to me, that was a gay character,” O’Donnell admitted.
