In 2009,John and his wife Kelly Prestontragically lost their son,Jett Travolta.
Jett was only 16-years-old at the time of his death.
He passed away following a seizure while the family was vacationing in The Bahamas.
In the caption, he wrote, “Happy birthday my beautiful Jetty.
I love you.”
John’s daughter, Ella Bleu Travolta, also shareda tributeto her late brother on the special day.
At the age of 57, the actress passed away after a two-year battle with breast cancer.
Travolta opened up about Preston’s death during an interview with Esquire Spain, per theDaily Mail.
“I have learned that mourning someone, mourning, is personal.
Mourning is individual and experiencing your own journey is what can lead to healing,” the actor admitted.
“This is different from someone else’s journey.
That’s my experience.”

The actor also spoke about his children, Ella Travolta and Benjamin Travolta.
“Ben is barely 10 years old.
