The duo started dating in 2006, got married in 2011, and it was all over by 2015.
AsIn Touch Weeklyreported, the demise of Lambert and Shelton’s relationship played out very publicly in the press.
“This is not the future we envisioned.
Maybe their differing opinions on children contributed to the divorce?
In fact, while speaking toPeoplein 2011, Shelton expressed his desire to have children ASAP.
“That family and those generations and being on that end of things.”
Just a year later, however, Lambert pointed out that timing is everything.
All things considered, it seems the timing simply wasn’t right for Lambert and Shelton.
