In addition to publicly acknowledging her children’s accomplishments, Catania has also cared for her children when needed.
“Is a mother scared to take care of her kids when they have the flu?
It’s my duty as a mother,” she toldPage Sixin January.
Looking back on her children’s illnesses, Catania recalled, “My daughter said, ‘Everything hurts me.
The [bed sheets] on my back hurt.
My body hurts me,’ and I told her, ‘You got COVID.’
And then my son was coughing, and I’m like, ‘You too?!'”
