Lovato also tagged the Los Angeles-based tattoo artistDaniel Winterin the caption and thanked him for manifesting her vision.
“The words were so encouraging and lifted me through a really dark time in my life.”
“I got it in some tattoo artist’s apartment,” she revealed toiHeartRadio.
It sounds like Lovato was indulging in a little bit of rebellion, huh?
“We created a combination [of] images that best symbolized the spiritual awakening I was having.”
For one, she has a bold yet simple cross inked in black on her right hand.
It’s just, kind of, one of my favorite life mottoes," she revealed toHollywire.
“This is for you Mimaw,” she proclaimed in a post on herInstagrampage.
“That tattoo is for my father,” she shared in an interview withDeezer.
“Those numbers are my family’s birthdays,” shecontinued.
She’s right about that one.

Of course, given that it’s Lovato, you know she commemorated the occasion with a tattoo.
